Alessi Wine Cooler - Max le Chinois
A stunning item designed by Phillippe Starck for Alessi in 1990 - it's difficult to do it justice in a photograph. Described as a chinois - or colander - it's more a work of art, and a very functional one indeed. Max makes a marvelous and unusual wine cooler or ice bucket. It's at it's most impressive when filled with a bunch of large bold flowers. Another winning item from Alessi.
